    The IES7511 series Industrial PoE switch is built with robust components and a hardened housing, ensuring reliable performance in electrically noisy and climatically challenging settings such as factory floors or roadside control cabinets. Housed in a compact, IP40-rated rugged enclosure, it supports both DIN-rail and wall mounting, saving valuable cabinet space. Thanks to its PoE capability and rugged design, this switch offers a cost-effective solution for service providers, campuses, and public areas to easily deploy PoE wireless access points, IP cameras, and IP phones virtually anywhere. It is also designed to operate in an extensive temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for nearly any location.

     

    A Scalable Solution with Built-in Flexibility

    The switch includes four additional mini-GBIC SFP slots, which support dual-rate 1000BASE-SX/LX fiber-optic modules. This allows administrators to flexibly select the appropriate SFP transceiver based on both required transmission distance and speed. Transmission distances can range from 550 meters over multi-mode fiber, up to 20/40/60/100/120 kilometers using single-mode or WDM fiber. These features make the switch well-suited for enterprise data center and distribution applications.

    The switch's RJ45 copper ports support 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiation, automatically detecting the optimal speed over standard Cat 6, 5, or 5e cables. With built-in auto-MDI/MDI-X, each port automatically identifies the connection type to any Ethernet device, eliminating the need for special straight-through or crossover cables.

     

     

     

    Integrated Surge Shield for Network Equipment
