  • The FMC-100 series Gigabit media converter delivers high-performance Gigabit connectivity over fiber optic cable to extend network reach. It seamlessly converts between 10/100/1000BASE-T copper and 1000BASE-SX/LX fiber interfaces. Featuring SC, SFP, and WDM ports for use with single-mode or multi-mode fiber, it supports flexible distance requirements. This converter enables simple, efficient, and cost-effective connections across three Ethernet segment types. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, and 802.3z standards, the device offers plug-and-play installation for quick setup. Additionally, it supports flow control and half-duplex back pressure to prevent packet loss.

    The Benchu Group series of fiber media converters extends network communication distances with high-performance Gigabit connectivity over fiber optic cables. The FMC-100 series converters facilitate seamless conversion between 10/100/1000BASE-T copper and 1000BASE-SX/LX fiber interfaces. They support a wide range of fiber applications through various connector options, including multi-mode LC/SC for distances up to 550m, single-mode LC/SC spanning from 10km to 120km, and single-fiber WDM connectors for 15km or 60km reaches.
