  • The FMC-100 series is a Fast Ethernet bridge that converts 100BASE-FX fiber to 10/100BASE-TX shielded twisted pair (STP). It operates in both half- and full-duplex modes and extends network reach with high-performance fiber connectivity. This media converter supports conversion between 10/100BASE-T and 100BASE-SX/LX interfaces, offering SC, SFP, or WDM connectors and supporting single-mode or multi-mode fiber for flexible distance requirements. Compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, and 802.3z standards, the device enables quick, plug-and-play installation. It also features flow control and half-duplex back pressure to prevent packet loss.

     

    Hassle-Free Setup | Effortless Installation

    The fiber converter supports two flexible deployment options. It can operate as a standalone unit powered by a DC adapter, or be installed as a slide-in module within a 14-slot media converter chassis. These chassis provide centralized power to multiple converters, simplifying management in rack-mounted environments. With plug-and-play installation, setup is quick and straightforward. Additionally, the converter incorporates flow control and half-duplex back pressure to prevent packet loss.
