  • The FMC-100 series Gigabit Media Converter extends network reach using high-performance fiber optic cabling. It provides seamless conversion between 10/100/1000BASE-T copper and 1000BASE-SX/LX fiber interfaces. Offering SC, SFP, and WDM connector options with single-mode or multi-mode support, it can be configured for various distance requirements. This plug-and-play device ensures quick, easy, and cost-effective connectivity across three segment types, with full compliance to IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, and 802.3z standards. Additionally, it supports flow control and half-duplex back pressure to prevent packet loss.

     

    One-Click Installation

    The FMC-100 fiber converter supports two convenient deployment methods. It can operate as a standalone unit powered by an external DC adapter, or as a slide-in module installed within a 14-slot media converter chassis. The chassis provides centralized power to the converters, simplifying fiber-optic network management in a single location. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3 (10BASE-T), 802.3u (100BASE-TX), 802.3ab (1000BASE-T), and 802.3z (1000BASE-LX/SX) standards, this Gigabit media converter offers plug-and-play installation. Additionally, it supports flow control and half-duplex back pressure to prevent packet loss.
