  • The FMC-100-M series is a Fast Ethernet bridge that converts 100BASE-FX fiber to 10/100BASE-TX shielded twisted pair (STP). It supports both half-duplex and full-duplex operation, and uses fiber optic technology to reliably extend network distances with high performance. This media converter provides seamless conversion between 10/100BASE-T and 100BASE-SX/LX interfaces. It offers SC, SFP, and WDM connector options, supporting either single-mode or multi-mode fiber to accommodate various distance requirements. The device enables easy, efficient, and cost-effective connectivity across three types of Ethernet segments. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 802.3u 100BASE-TX, 802.3ab 100BASE-T, and 802.3z 100BASE-LX/SX standards, it features plug-and-play installation for quick setup. Additionally, the FMC-100 supports flow control and half-duplex back pressure to prevent packet loss.
